I love all aspects of Multi-sport and general wellness, especially as it relates to nutrition. I am passionate about setting goals, testing fitness, training, competition, and most of all, the triathlon/fitness community. As a coach, my philosophy is to build sustainability, strength, and fitness, both physically and mentally, to provide athletes the edge needed to conquer their goals.
Focusing on building strength and nutrition allows everyone to improve wellness and performance. I provide accountability and feedback that gives athletes the knowledge and motivation to reach their goals. Whether it is to lose weight, run a 5k to a marathon, or complete a triathlon from sprint to Ironman. I am honored to partner with my clients through this journey and take incredible pride in seeing their fitness, confidence, and mental and physical health transform through my coaching.
My professional career in health care has instilled the importance and value of evidence-based knowledge centered on research. I continually seek the newest science to bring longevity and top performance to my clients and athletes.
I am married to Jerry and have three grown children. My daughter, Cara, has competed side-by-side with me in triathlons and many running races from 5K's to half marathons to marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2014. My two sons, Kyle and Curtis, also value fitness and enjoy both recreational and competitive sports. My family is my greatest joy, and having them support me by joining my passion has been the highlight of my journey. Committing to a lifetime of health and wellness is a gift we can all enjoy together.
